listen to it on youtube is completely different from listening to it through a proper sound system, it's good stuff, gets the floors bouncing.
just youtube "masters of hardcore" and see what teh crowd is like on there.

this scene needs new genres to spice it up abit, theres new people coming into the scene all the time, new audiences have new preferences, specially the kids now, more open to new things, hardcore has took off probaly due to things like clubland x-treme and darren styles going commercial aswell as other things.
